STUDYING SHAKESPEARE SUCKETHS

The Helpmann Award nominated, national touring production is back, barder than ever and ready to tackle a 400 year-old question. Drama HOD Miss Pingle has set her class a group assignment topic – choose and perform a Shakespearean scene that proves his relevance to a modern day audience. Simple enough? Not really, considering three of Miss Pingle’s most diverse students have been grouped together – Rob, Jay and Lachlan. Over the course of their 50-minute lesson – the trio debate, procrastinate and eventually relate to create their performance piece drawing a multitude of parallels between their own lives and those of Shakespeare’s most iconic characters. Do not miss your opportunity to host this critically-acclaimed production at your school.
