20 years ago, Shake & Stir Theatre Co was born from a shared vision. A passion for storytelling, a belief in the transformative power of live performance, and a simple wish to ignite imaginations in classrooms and communities, in every corner of the country.

On our emerald anniversary, we celebrate more than just our history. We pay tribute to the millions of students, teachers, artists, and supporters who have joined us on this two-decade journey. You are the reason we do what we do and why we are still doing it today.

In 2026, we invite you to experience a season of works that honour our legacy and propelling us into the future. Our productions this year are daring, relevant, and created with the same intention of our very first season, way back in 2006. Productions designed to spark conversation, challenge perspectives, entertain, and inspire learning.

To every school that has welcomed us, every student who has beamed a smile back at us, and every teacher who has supported #shaketouring and championed the arts; we thank you.
