Welcome to Shake & Stir's Greenroom – our home for Secondary Students.
These one-of-a-kind programs offers a comprehensive opportunity for passionate young artists dedicated to the performing arts to hone their craft and connect with the professional industry. Throughout a series of engaging sessions, participants will grow into more confident, capable performers as they train, observe, learn, and create.

Train, rehearse and perform as part of Shake & Stir's Greenroom Ensemble. Work with Industry professionals to rehearse a piece for a showcase performance.

Shake & Stir is dedicated to supporting students pursuing a career in the performing arts by offering specialized sessions led by industry professionals. Participants will train at an advanced level, gaining the tools and skills needed to excel in the industry.

#FAQ'S
Do you have to perform?
No! On the enrolment form, we'll ask "How would you like to be involved in the ensemble?" You can choose to be a performer, join the technical or creative team, or take on a rehearsal swing/understudy role. Students who don't want to perform or can't attend the showcase often choose one of these roles to stay involved.
Can parents/guardians attend the mainstage excursion?
Absolutely! Parents and guardians are welcome to attend, you'll need to purchase your own ticket. Please note you may not be sitting with the group and we cannot advise where the group's specific seat allocations are. This won't include the exclusive behind-the-scenes experience.
Worried about your unavailability?
Please get in contact with us and we can advise options for your involvement based on your unavailability. There are other ways to be involved or it may come down to the role size you have within the show.
Do I have to audition?
No! Greenroom welcomes students of all experience levels. During the program, you'll take part in a relaxed audition so the director can get to know your strengths and cast the show. Think of it as the best audition you'll ever do as you're already in the show!
Is the showcase free to attend?
Sure is! You just need to reserve your seat.
