Welcome to SS27 Shake & Stir Theatre Co's 2027 In-School Season.

Inspired by the energy of a new-season collection, this year's line-up puts great literature, iconic characters and contemporary voices firmly in the spotlight. Or perhaps, in the hot seat. Students are invited to take the best seat in the house, while the characters and classics they study are viewed from fresh angles, challenged, celebrated and brought vividly to life.

This year's collection is cut from the classics and tailored for today's classrooms. Shakespeare's razor-sharp wit. Roald Dahl's delicious mischief. Arthur Miller's enduring truths. Edgar Allan Poe's delicious darkness. Alongside fearless new Australian voices writing for young people right now.

Expect huge laughs. Honest conversations. Edge-of-your-seat storytelling. Characters who command the room, challenge expectations and reveal what lies beneath the surface.
