Welcome to SS27, Shake & Stir Theatre Co's 2027 In-School Season.

Inspired by the energy of a new-season collection, this year's line-up puts great literature, iconic characters and contemporary voices in the spotlight. Students are invited to take the best seat in the house as the texts they study are reimagined, challenged, celebrated and brought vividly to life.

This collection is cut from the classics and tailored for today's classrooms. Shakespeare's razor-sharp wit. Roald Dahl's daring mischief. Arthur Miller's enduring truths. Edgar Allan Poe's delicious darkness. Alongside fearless new Australian voices speaking directly to young people today.

Expect huge laughs, honest conversations, edge-of-your-seat storytelling.

Whether you're programming English, Drama or whole-school experiences, SS27 delivers curriculum-connected performances that meet students where they are and take them somewhere unexpected.
