Enhance Your Early Learning Environment with Live Cultural Performances from Bulkaway Muruku!

Greetings from Bulkaway Muruku! In partnership with Shake & Stir Theatre Co, we are thrilled to be touring our unique learning program that brings indigenous stories, songs, and arts to life. Designed specifically for young learners, our sessions are crafted to provide a culturally rich educational experience that aligns with the Queensland curriculum. Our program is not just a learning experience; it's a celebration of First Nations stories, music, and dance designed for young minds.

WHO ARE WE?
Bulkaway Muruku, part of the Creative Bama Project, collaborates with traditional elders and artists from around the Pacific rim to create welcoming, interactive environments for children. The core team Natalia Mann (Harpist) Nikki Doll (Percussionist/Vocalist), Naurita Briscoe (Guitar/Visual Artists) & Merindi Schrieber (Ukelele/Weaver) have connections throughout the Pacific rim from Samon to Papua New Guinea and Kuku Yalanji lands respectively. As mamas and artists the Bulkaway Muruku team create culturally safe spaces for children to learn and connect through First Nations perspectives.

WHAT WE OFFER
