Anchor Program

By request from Balanced Choice

The Balanced Choice Anchor program is designed to equip students with the tools to navigate life’s challenges through a unique blend of physical fitness, drama, and positive psychology.

Inspired by the metaphor of an anchor, the program helps participants ground themselves amidst life’s ups and downs by fostering a strong connection between body, mind, and spirit.

Each session explores core values such as courage, respect, teamwork, and self-love, guiding students in developing resilience and emotional intelligence. Through drama and physical movement, students engage in creative expression and role-playing activities that allow them to explore their emotions, confront challenges, and build empathy. Theatre games, improvisation, and storytelling are integrated to encourage collaboration, communication, and self-reflection, creating a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

The program’s flexible model allows it to be tailored to the specific needs of schools, offering anything from a one-off workshop to a full-term or semester-long program focused on engagement and empowerment. Whether a single session or an extended series, Balanced Choice: Anchors can adapt to suit various school timetables and learning outcomes, ensuring students benefit from its rich, holistic approach to well-being and creativity.
